There are exactly 6 stages in Online Business and it’s good to know what stage of business you’re in currently. Understanding these stages will help you take your online business to new heights in the right path. I found out that we are all experiencing these steps in our businesses and it determines where we will be in the future.
I believe that there are two types of entrepreneurs out here: those who want to be in business and those who already are. I’m here to help entrepreneurs at both levels to promote their products and services plus elevate their businesses. Let’s talk about the stages we go through in online business so that we can determine what stage we are in at the moment.
- Dream. This is the start up, fantasy-like state in which you watch your idea come alive.
Grand expectations and desires make you feel like your on top of the world. This stage is where we build up momentum to put in the action required to wake up in reality. This stage is the shortest of all and should be temporary because if you dream forever…. you will just dream forever… you will have tons of regrets later.
- Nightmare. You barely started and now you are getting very overwhelmed by problems coming from many different angles. Most entrepreneurs give up here, but I’m here to tell you….DON’T GIVE UP! EVER! Life is too short to be a victim of the quitting disease, keep going until you get to where you were destined to be.
- Reality. It’s time to confront and overcome your challenges. At this stage, guidance makes all the difference. Having a great mentor who can guide you to success can definitely benefit you. Your dreaming stage progresses to the reality of actually living out your dreams. Please don’t be the smartest kid on the block who never takes action and then weeps in sorrow because they never succeeded.
- Survival. You may have made it through, but now you are stuck in a routine. You don’t own your business, it owns you. This is where you have to work smart and not hard. To make online business a smooth process, you must teach your people how to duplicate what you done. If duplication is not being done, you are in fact working hard, and working hard is not smart in my opinion.
- Breakthrough. You make minor but dramatic changes that automate your business and make it managable. You are finally able to grow and become free to operate hands-off. Once your business is on auto-pilot, you can now focus on how to keep it running on auto-pilot. Monitoring your business operations and making sure duplication is the top priority will ensure much success for years to come.
- Contribution. You done it all, so now it’s time to give back. This is the level when you present yourself as a high quality leader who gives value back to the marketplace. Helping others achieve success is contributing to the internet marketing industry.
So What Stage Are You In?
This is critical to your overall success, you want to be able to identify your stage as soon as possible.
